Jayalalithaa hosts lunch for Modi

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on Friday hosted lunch for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at her residence here - and also discussed issues of national concern.

A Tamil Nadu government statement said the Modi-Jayalalithaa meeting lasted for 50 minutes.

Jayalalithaa presented the prime minister a memorandum raising issues related to Tamil Nadu. Modi was here to launch the National Handloom Day and the India Handloom brand.
