Jodie Foster dating Ellen DeGeneres's ex

Actress-filmmaker Jodie Foster is dating TV host Ellen DeGeneres's ex-girlfriend, photographer Alexandra Hedison.

"It's pretty serious. They're totally in love," eonline.com quoted a source as saying.

Hedison dated DeGeneres for three years before they chose to head for splitsville in 2004. Then the chat show host went on to marry actress Portia de Rossi.

Earlier this year, Foster publicly acknowledged her sexuality for the first time as she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which is given in recognition of outstanding achievement at the Golden Globe Awards.
