Amman, July 6 (IANS/EFE) Jordan's State Security Court decided on Monday to forbid the publishing of information regarding an alleged Iranian plot to carry out terrorist attacks in Jordanian territory.

The decision was adopted at the beginning of the trial of suspect Khaled al-Rubai, accused of working for the Iranian intelligence, according to Petra news agency.

All media outlets have been banned from reporting on the trial.

The 49-year-old suspect has previously colluded in terrorist attacks, and is a member of the Beit al-Maqdis Islamist group.

Al-Rubai was recently arrested in Jarash, 30 km north of Amman, where he had been storing explosives.
