Kabul car bomb kills three

Three civilians were killed and 17 injured when a car bomb explosion rocked Afghanistan's capital Kabul Sunday, the interior ministry said.

All the victims of the blast on Darul Aman road were civilians.

Security officials said the target of the attacker was lawmaker Shukria Barikzai but she escaped unhurt, according to Xinhua.

Several buildings and shops near the site were damaged.
