Senior Jammu and Kahsmir politician and top communist leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami suffered a heart block on Sunday and was immediately rushed to the Srinagar medical institute.
Tarigami, who has represented Kulgam continuously since 1996, faced multiple problems during last night at his Srinagar residence and was rushed to Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS). After series of tests, it was established that he was suffering from heart block, the institute authorities said.
The authorities said Tarigami was suffering from heart block and that led them to implant a pace maker. They were planning another heart surgery on Tarigami on Monday.
