Leonor Varela welcomes second child

Actress Leonor Varela has welcomed her second child, a daughter, with husband and producer Lucas Akoskin.

The 42-year-old gave birth to her daughter Wednesday in Santa Monica, California. The couple has named the newborn Luna Mae Akosin, reports people.com.

"We are deeply grateful for the arrival of our daughter, Luna Mae Akosin, to our family. Her 8 lbs, 11 oz of pure love have made us very proud parents for the second time," Varela said.

"Feeling so blessed this angel just landed in our arms. Welcome to the family Luna Mae," Varela announced on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white snapshot of the two snuggling.

 

Varela, who is known for her role in "Dallas", and Akoskin are also parents to 2-year-old son Matteo.
