It was a warm, cloudy Wednesday in the national capital, as the maximum temperature settled at 26.9 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast light rain Thursday.
"The sky will remain cloudy throughout the day tomorrow (Thursday) and parts of the city will receive light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 26 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday morning was warm and the minimum temperature was recorded a notch above average at 13.8 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius, just below the season's average, while the minimum was 12 degrees Celsius.
