Lopez beats Berdych to reach Stuttgart Open semis
Spaniard Feliciano Lopez advanced to the Stuttgart Open tennis semi-finals on Friday after beating his World No.14 Czech opponent Tomas Berdych in the quarter-finals here.
In a duel that lasted just over two hours, Lopez, World No.33, defeated Berdych 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-4, reports Efe.
The Spaniard is set to play next against the winner of the match between Germans Tommy Haas and sixth-seeded Mischa Zverev.
