Man held with cannabis in Bengal

A man was arrested on Sunday in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district with 29 kg of ganja (cannabis), police said.

The accused, identified as Abdul Mondal, was nabbed from the Basirhat area.

Suspecting the contraband to have been smuggled from Bangladesh, police are also ascertaining Mondal's nationality.
