Man's body found floating in Delhi pond

The body of a 25-year-old man was found floating in a pond here on Tuesday, police said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Devender Arya said the victim, Balwant Ram, who hailed from Uttarakhand's Chamoli, used to work in a canteen at the Golf Course near Dhaula Kuan in south Delhi.

He left the canteen around 10.30 p.m. on Monday but did not reach home. On Tuesday morning, a sweeper noticed his body and informed the police.

"There weren't any apparent injuries on the body and it has been sent for post-mortem," the officer said.
