Man shot dead in Kashmir

Unidentified gunmen shot dead a man in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore town on Sunday evening, police said.

Police here said that earlier this evening, gunshots were heard in the town's Behrampora area and a man found injured. He was brought to the SMHS hospital here where doctors declared him dead.

"The body had a single gunshot wound in the head," said a police official.
