Mick Jagger to become great-grandfather

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is going to become a great-grandfather early next year as his granddaughter Assisi is expecting her first child.

Assisi, 21, is expecting a child with boyfriend Alex. She is the daughter of Jade, whom Jagger had with his former wife Bianca, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Jade confirmed the news. "It is true. I am going to be a grandmother."

Assisi says her 70-year-old grandfather is happy after hearing the news.

"He said, 'Well done'. I imagine it's nice to be a great-grandad, although I'm not sure he likes the idea of getting old or being called one," said Assisi.
