Minor girl falls to death from Ghaziabad building

A nine-year-old girl died after falling from her 10th floor flat here on Wednesday, police said.

Vasudha, daughter of Dinesh Sharma, was a Class 5 student at Saint Francis School in Indirapuram, and a resident at the Panchsheel Wellington tower in Crossing Republik.

She was standing on a chair in her flat's balcony, when she fell over.

Her parents rushed her to a hospital where doctors declared her dead.

A case has been registered, and the body sent for post-mortem examination, said Superintendent of Police (City) Ajay Pal.
