Modi given 'keys' to Lucknow city
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Tuesday gifted the keys to Lucknow by the city's Acting Mayor Suresh Awasthi.
The 10-inch-long brass key has been silver polished and made in Moradabad.
The symbolic gesture has been a tradition of welcoming VVIP and special guests for ages.A
Before this, Lucknow had honoured President Pranab Mukherjee and former Prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the same manner.
