Modi named chairman of BJP campaign committee

After much speculation, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was Sunday named chairman of the BJP campaign committee for the Lok Sabha polls scheduled for 2014.

The announcement was made at the fag end of the party's two-day national executive committee.
