MoU on higher education with Canada to be renewed

The union cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday gave its approval for renewal of an MoU between India and Canada for cooperation in higher education.

A cabinet communique said that MoU will help to intensify existing partnerships between India and Canada in the field of higher education.

The MoU was signed in June 2010 for a period of five years and was to be renewed, it said.
