Mukherjee calls off Karnataka tour over Kalam's death

President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday called off all his programmes in Karnataka and will return to Delhi on Tuesday morning following the death of former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

This was stated by an official statement from Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Kalam, India's 11th president, died on Monday evening in Shillong.
