IANS Yangon

The Myanmar president's office has named three new advisers to the president, in a move to strengthen handling of economic and legal affairs, official media said Thursday.

Aung Tun Thet and Zaw Oo were appointed economic advisers, while U Nyan Naing Win was named legal adviser, Xinhua reported.

Myanmar formed a nine-member advisory board dealing with political, economic and legal affairs for President U Thein Sein in May 2011.
