'Namune' to bring writer P.L. Deshpande alive on small screen (TV Snippets)

"Namune", an upcoming show will bring the late and his characters alive on the small screen.

Purushottam Lakshman Deshpande, fondly known as PuLa, was a People could relate to him and his characters, owing to the uniqueness of his humour and inspiration from everyday life.

Produced by Dashmi Creations along with creative producers and for SAB, it will see an array of seasoned actors from the theatre and television space.

Niranjan, an insurance agent, will be played by Kunal Kumar. Sanjay Mone, in Deshpande's role, helps hack the intricacies of life. Niranjan's wife (Toral Rajput), mother (Farida Dadi), his children (Saloni Daini) and Lalit (Aryan Prajapati) will be seen playing pivotal roles.

Visible only to Niranjan, PuLa - with his characters - teaches him to live lifeto the fullest and the art of finding joy in little things around him. Few of the most iconic P.L.

The show's said in a statement: "It is an absolute privilege to bring alive the renowned characters of the Marathi legend P. L. Deshpande on-screen in Hindi. We have some infinitely talented actors to do justice to the show. I am sure viewers will be able to connect well with the stories."

To that, Ahmed said: "Remo would never take credit for his own work. I remember choosing Remo over 7 best dancers because of the person he is. Nobody has been able to stop him till now, nobody ever will."

Sahil Khattar juggles between cricket, football

'star' Sahil Khattar, known for his 'Being Indian' videos, has been juggling quite a bit -- between football and cricket.

On one hand, he is presenting his cool and quirky take on the World Cup show "Football Extra", and he is also anchoring a show based on cricket called "Fair and Square".

In one video that he put on his account, he is sitting between two rooms with and watching both football and cricket simultaneously so that he doesn't miss either.

He said in a statement: "I am really excited with the kind of projects I am being offered. I see good work coming and it definitely feels nice to be part of some good exciting projects. It's tough juggling between two sports - football and cricket at the same time but I am thoroughly enjoying the process."
