An all-round performance by Nasir Hossain helped Bangladesh A defeat India A by 65 runs in the second game of the three-match unofficial one-day series here on Friday.

Nasir scored an beaten 102 runs off 96 deliveries and returned figures of 5/36 as the visitors, who had suffered a 96-run thrashing in the first match on Wednesday, levelled the series at 1-1.

Put into bat by the hosts, Bangladesh A posted a total of 252/8 before dismissing the Indians for 187 runs in 42.2 overs.

Bangladesh A had a rocky start to their innings thanks to pacer Rishi Dhawan and leg-spinner Karn Sharma. Nasir and Liton Das (45) however, managed to steady the boat with a 70-run sixth-wicket partnership.

Dhawan was the most successful among the Indian bowlers with figures of 3/44 while Sharma took two wickets.

India A started their chase on a promising note with skipper Unmukt Chand's half-century helping them to post 119/1 by the 28th over.

But things went downhill for the hosts from there on with Nasir and pacer Rubel Hossain spearheading the visitors' charge. Rubel finished with figures of 4/33.

The third and final match of the series will be played here on September 20.
