At least nine people were killed and 26 injured Saturday when a bus carrying university students in Turkey veered off highway and hit an electricity pole.
The accident occurred on a slippery highway near Erciyes- Hacilar mountains on the outskirts of Kayseri city Saturday evening, Xinhua reported. It happened when the students, from Nigde University, were on their way back to the city from skiing in Erciyes Mountain.
Turkish police have launched an investigation into the accident.
