Norway's Bjoergen wins women's skiathlon

Norway's Marit Bjoergen won the gold medal in the women's skiathlon event at the Winter Olympic Games here Saturday.

Bjoergen clocked 38 minutes and 33.6 seconds for the win. Charlotte Kalla of Sweden took the silver in 38:35.4 and another Norwegian Heidi Weng won the bronze in 38:46.8, reports Xinhua.
