Panel of 5 CMs on demonetisation eyewash: Trinamool

The Trinamool Congress on Monday dubbed "eyewash" the central government's decision to constitute a panel of five Chief Ministers to suggest steps to normalise the situation in the wake of demonetisation.

Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien said the move doesn't reflect the Opposition's stand but instead mirrored Prime Minister Narendra Modi's wish.

"Sub committee of 5 CMs for #NoteBandi Just eyewash.Not the voice of the Oppn.This is His Modi's Voice or His Master's Voice," he said in a tweet.
