Party drug seized in Goa, one arrested

A man was arrested Wednesday with 900 gm of amphetamine, a popular party drug, worth Rs.50 lakh in Goa, police said.

Elvis D'Souza was arrested in a raid conducted by the state's anti-narcotics cell and the amphetamine stock was seized from his godown in Porvorim, near here, police said.

An official said the consignment was brought into Goa recently and was to be sold to pushers in the peak party season here which begins later this month.
