Actress Anushka Sharma's home production "Phillauri" has been scheduled for release on March 24 next year.
Shot extensively in Punjab, the film features Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma, Mehreen Pirzada and Anushka in key roles.
"Guys... 'Phillauri' Ki release date: March 24, 2017! (Release date for 'Phillauri': March 24, 2017) Likh ke Rakho abhi se (write it down)... Bohot maza aney wala hai (it is going to be great fun)," Anushka tweeted on Friday.
Co-produced by Fox Star Studios and Clean Slate Films -- Anushka's production banner with brother Karnesh Sharma -- "Phillauri" is a fun-filled romantic Hindi film set in Phillaur.
Directed by debutant Anshai Lal and written by Anvita Dutt, the film's shoot had begun on Baisakhi earlier this year and the shooting wrapped in June.
Clean Slate Films has previously produced "NH10", which starred Neil Bhoopalam and Anushka.
