PM condoles Trinamool MP Thakur's death

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday extended condolences on the death of Trinamool Congress MP Kapil Krishna Thakur.

"PM condoles the passing away of Lok Sabha MP from Bongaon (West Bengal) Kapil Krishna Thakur. He extends his condolences to the bereaved family," the prime minister's office (PMO) said in a tweet.

Thakur passed away Monday at a nursing home in Kolkata following a lung infection. He was 73.
