PM seeks donations for relief fund as Diwali gift

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Saturday appealed to his well-wishers to make donations to the prime minister's national relief fund instead of sending him gifts on Diwali.

The prime minister thanked all those who were sending him greetings and good wishes on Diwali, according to an official release here.
