Police conducts security drill in Gurgaon

Haryana Police commandos and members of a technical team on Saturday conducted security drills in Gurgaon hotels and malls in view of Independence Day celebrations on August 15.

A special team of commandos conducted these drills on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon (MG) road and Udyog Vihar area.

Hotels included in the exercise were Bristol on MG road and Oberoi and Trident in Udyog Vihar.

"Security has been beefed up in the city. We will continue our search exercises in coming days," a senior police officer told IANS.

He said these are precautionary steps being taken by the police.
