President to lay foundation for Krishna temple

President Pranab Mukherjee will lay the foundation of a 213-metre tall Sri Krishna temple here Nov 16.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav are also expected to attend the function organised by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

A helipad is being developed close to the site to receive the president, officials here said.
