Rahul Gandhi to visit Wardha

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will Friday visit Wardha in Maharashtra, his office said Thursday.

According to party sources, Gandhi will meet state party workers in Wardha's Sewagram.

The visit will include a meeting with elected Congress members from panchayats and a visit to the Sewagram ashram, which was Mahatma Gandhi's residence for some time.

The Congress leader will also release an "open manifesto" with Panchayati Raj and local self government representatives.
