Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Tuesday met National Students of India (NSUI) candidates who were victorious in Gujarat university elections.
A NSUI press release said that Gandhi congratulated the candidates and also discussed the challenges and opportunities lying ahead for the party's student wing in the state.
NSUI won six of 10 seats in Gujarat University student's senate elections. NSUI won nine of fourteen seats in Gujarat University student welfare elections, the release said. The elections were held last month.
