Rains likely to occur in Delhi on Tuesday

It was a generally clouded Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, the weather office said.

"Light rains and thunder storm are likely to occur in many places towards the afternoon/evening," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius, said the official.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 60 percent, he said.
