Rs.500 crore welfare programme for Kashmiri migrants

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Thursday announced a Rs.500 crore programme for rehabilitation of displaced Kashmiri migrants.

"Displaced Kashmiri migrants require our special support for rehabilitation. For this, I intend to provide a sum of Rs.500 crore in the current financial year," Jaitley said while presenting his maiden budget.
