Russia sweep 50km cross country ski podium

Alexander Legkov Sunday led a clean sweep of the podium in the men's 50km cross-country skiing race, securing Russia's top standing on the final Olympic table.

The 30-year-old Legkov clocked 1 minute 46.2 seconds for the gold, 0.7 seconds ahead of Maxim Vylegzhanin and a further 0.1 ahead of ILia Chernousov, reports Xinhua.
