Sayeed was a seasoned politician: Raman Singh

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday said Mufti Muhammad Sayeed was a seasoned politician and a soft-spoken person.

As chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Sayeed worked for the welfare of the people of the state, and rendered valuable service as a union minister, Raman Singh said in a condolence message on Sayeed's death in a Delhi hospital on Thursday.

Raman Singh also extended his condolences to Sayeed's family.
