Seven killed in Iraq suicide attack

At least seven security personnel were killed and 20 injured Saturday in a suicide tanker bomb attack in Iraq, an official said.

The attack occurred when a suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden tanker into an army checkpoint in Salahudin province, the official told Xinhua.

The suicide bomber targeted the checkpoint while a convoy of police vehicles was passing, the source said.
