Shimla half-marathon Sunday

The fifth edition of the Shimla half-marathon will be held here Sunday and will be participated by runners from India and abroad, organisers said here Tuesday.

The half-marathon would be organised in association with Delhi-based Running and Living Infotainment, said an official of the state's department of youth services and sports.

The event would pass by several historical buildings like Gorton Castle and the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. It would conclude at the Mount Jakhu -- the highest peak in the town located at an altitude of 8,500 feet.
