Shooter Tara Shahdeo's husband arrested

The husband of national champion shooter Tara Shahdeo was arrested in a joint operation by Jharkhand and Delhi Police Tuesday night, sources said.

Ranjeet Singh Kohli alias Rakibul Hasan Khan, 30, was arrested from a place near the Delhi-Ghaziabad border.

Tara, 23, who won the gold medal in the 2009 Eastern Zone championship, had alleged that Kohli beat her and forced her to convert to Islam after they got married in July.
