Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday urged the people to shun casteism and inequality to form a bond with others.
Bhagwat, who arrived here to participate in three-day RSS coordination camp that began on Thursday, said all were equal in Indian society and one should not think of others as having high or low social status.
"Do not discriminate on the basis of caste. All those living in the country are children of Mother India. Go out and meet others so that there is social cohesion in the country," the RSS chief said while participating in the ongoing 'Ekatma Yatra' in the state.
He also emphasised the need for putting into practice what one preached.
