Shuttler Sindhu crashes out of China Open

Rio Olympic silver medallist P.V. crashed out of the Open tournament, going down in the women's singles quarter-final here on Friday.

The eighth seed He Bingjiao of defeated World No. 3 Indian 21-17, 17-21, 21-15 in a marathon 69-minute match.

Third seed lost the first game but bounced back in the second game to take the match in the decider.

In the third game, there was no match of the Chinese shuttler as was overpowered easily.

Later in the day, fifth seed Kidambi Srikanth will face fourth seed Chou of Chinese in men's singles match while Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will take on of in men's doubles match.
