Sikkim CM Chamling files nomination from two seats

India's longest serving Chief Minister Pawan Chamling filed his nomination from Namchi Singithang and Poklok Kamrang assembly constituencies on Monday for the Sikkim assembly elections.
The 68-year-old Chamling, who has been helming Sikkim since December 12, 1994, filed his papers in Namchi, the headquarters of South Sikkim district.
Chamling is seeking a record sixth consecutive term for his party, Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) in the upcoming assembly elections.
