Simon Cowell's newborn son is already preparing to become a jet-setter after the music and reality TV mogul obtained his baby's first passport at just five days old.
The "X Factor" creator and judge and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman welcomed their first child together, son Eric, Feb 14 and on Wednesday the happy couple headed to Manhattan Family Court in New York, where a judge signed an order of filiation, formally acknowledging Cowell as the child's father in the event of custody or visitation issues.
The new parents also filed papers for Eric's first travel documents and he was subsequently cleared for take-off, reports tmz.com.
However, the child is unlikely to be boarding a plane anytime soon.
