Sitara Devi passes away in Mumbai

Eminent Kathak danseuse Sitara Devi, who was on ventilator and serious Monday, passed away early Tuesday at Jaslok hospital here, confirms her son in law.

"She is in no more," Rajesh Mishra, the son-in-law of the 94-year-old danseuse, told IANS.

Sitara Devi was earlier hospitalised at Cumballa Hill Hospital and was later

shifted to Jaslok hospital.
