Six injured in LPG blast

A cooking gas cylinder exploded in a house here on Thursday, inflicting burn injuries on five inmates and a neighbour who rushed to their rescue, police said.
The incident occurred in west Delhi's Aman Vihar area at around 9.30 p.m. when a woman, Prem Lata, was cooking food.
The victims were identified as Prem Lata, 40, her son Lakshya, 11, and daughters Riya, 15, and Pammi, 21, brother-in-law Suraj, 32, and a neighbour, Vijay.
"Suraj and Vijay have received 70 per cent burn injuries and have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital," a police officer said.
