Sonia condoles death of Sister Nirmala

Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday condoled the death of Mother Teresa's successor Sister Nirmala.

Sister Nirmala, 81, who succeeded Mother Teresa as superior general of the Missionaries of Charity, died in Kolkata on Tuesday.

In a message, Gandhi described her as a worthy successor of Mother Teresa and said that Sister Nirmala will be deeply missed by the millions, whose lives she touched in service of humanity.
