Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Sunday paid tributes to B.R. Ambedkar on his 60th death anniversary, saying his ideals will always remain "guiding principles" for the country.
"B.R. Ambedkar's ideals of equality and emancipation will forever remain our guiding principles," she said in a statement here.
Ambedkar, born on April 14, 1891, died on December 6, 1956.
