Sonia greets people on Republic Day

Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday extended her greetings to people on the 67th Republic Day.

In her message, Gandhi recalled the founding principles of the republic and hoped that sovereignty, democracy, equality and justice will always prevail and perpetuate.

She expressed her solidarity with over a billion fellow Indians "who live the idea of India in their heart and soul against all odds".
