Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas and his wife, journalist Sara Carbonero, have become parents for the second time on Friday.
Casillas revealed the news on Twitter, adding that the baby was named Lucas and both he and his mother are perfectly fine.
"Everything went great," Casillas tweeted, expressing his happiness.
The tweet included a black and white photo showing only the hand and mouth of Lucas, who was born on Thursday in a hospital here.
According to Carbonero, the newborn will be a perfect team-mate for his two-year old brother Martin.
