West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday said a new law will be put in place to rein in the menace of bike racing and rough driving by confiscating their vehicles.
"Innocent lives are lost due to the bike races. I will tell the administration to take away the bikes of these bike racers. The way they speed... they drive so rough. We will have to bring in a strong law. There is a law but that is not enough," she said in the Assembly.
