The national capital experienced a sunny day on Sunday with the maximum temperature at 34.5 degrees Celsius, average for the season, the Met office said. Monday is expected to be cloudy.
"There would be a partly cloudy sky on Monday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
It was partially cloudy Sunday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.5 degrees, average for the season, while the humidity oscillated between 84 and 56 per cent.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 34.4 degrees Celsius, average for the season, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degree Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
